Embracing the (Uncertain) Future

Powerful, prescient words from David duChemin posted to his Facebook page that is absolutely worth your time—certainly if you're a photographer, but also if you're a creative of any kind.

The weather analogy is both apt and painfully accurate. We can keep tilting at windmills (and each other), wishing and yelling the future away, but as Butthead so wonderfully put it many years ago, "I'm pretty cool Beavis, but I can't change the future."

Time to grab the camera and get back out there... pictures to make, pictures to make.
