Photo of the Day 09/18/10 - Goodbye, Blue Sky

This is from the fly over at the start of the Miami Dolphins/Buffalo Bills game in Orchard Park, New York, last weekend. I'd almost completely forgotten about the flyovers, and very nearly missed this one. Luck of the shutter and having my camera set for super fast action ... be prepared.

The pilots who did the fly over had recently returned from tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, and they were given a standing ovation when they made it down into the stadium about 2nd quarter. Probably a much better gig flying over a football game, that's for sure. They all certainly looked happy to see the cheerleaders.
