A little treat from Amélie’s: A French Bakery & Café in the North Davidson (or as the hip kids call it, NoDa) area of Charlotte, N.C. 

Natural lighting food photography is way more fun that it has any right to be. No only does it look good, but most of the time you turn around and eat the subject, which is not something you can do with portraiture—unless you're a zombie, of course.
